Son of the carpenter Jean Cresson, he settled down rue de Cléry with the sign "The image of Saint Louis". He became a carpenter for the Prince of Conde and the Duke of Orleans. With great care, Louis Cresson manufactured, in an elegant Louis XV style, all sorts of caned seats or upholstered with fabrics with sculpted decorations and elegant curves.
