This Bavarian cabinetmaker, originally from the Tyrol, established himself in rue Saint-Antoine, but his activity came to an end at the start of the Revolution. He produced Louis XV to Louis XVI furniture, with well thought-out shapes and meticulous workmanship in veneer, marquetry or mahogany. The mahogany is used mainly for Louis XVI furniture, which has very rigorous lines but is not dry.
