?All sides in amaranth veneer, opening with three drawers in the waist. The top has a moulding with foliage in the spandrels and is trimmed in gilded wine lees morocco. It stands on four cambered legs adorned with falls extended by a chamfer and finished with foliate sabots.
Rich ormolu ornamentation such as drop handles, lock escutcheons, moustaches framing the slightly recessed central drawer, bronze appliques on the sides representing the face of a woman crowned with flowers (perhaps the allegory of spring).
